It is releasing the muscles underneath (levator scapulae, rhomboids, suboccipitals) that are doing the actual holding.

How one session addresses it

    Infrared preconditioning

    Warm the upper back, trapezius and suboccipital region so the deep muscles under the traps can actually be reached.

  2. 02

    Deep-tissue work

    Focused work through the levator scapulae, rhomboids, and suboccipitals — not just surface traps. This is usually where the real tension lives.

  3. 03

    Targeted stretching

    Upper traps, pecs, and the deep neck flexors — the muscles that hold the shoulders-up-to-ears posture in place.

  4. 04

    Joint mobilization

    Gentle mobilization through the thoracic spine and shoulder girdle, restoring rotation that desk work has slowly stolen.

  5. 05

    Cryotherapy

    Cold along the neck and base of the skull to calm the nervous system and lock in the release.
